On
November 8th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic announcement
about demonetization to curb counterfeit currency, black money and the
currency notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 were no longer legal tender.
This
unprecedented move shocked the entire nation, nevertheless most of the
people were rejoicing, supported it and some really had bad time getting
sleep.
Whats interesting is entire nation was with Modi ji :-
be it major IT company, start ups
be it banks : these
people are going out of their way by working over time, opening banks
even on Saturday and Sundays, arranging snacks. So that common people
don’t face any problems.
be it trade unions: they are postponing their strikes by a month or two to support the PM and make sure the demonetization process works smoothly. I mean the entire nation is supporting.
On the contrary ;
Every
single political party is opposing the move by saying it was
unnecessary, that they did it to harass the poor, it was uncalled for;
Congress calling it financial chaos:
AAP : Arvind Kejriwal had no idea that it was announced in an unscheduled program so that black money holders don’t get time to escape and this is what kejriwal said:
Trinamool Congress : Mamata Banarjee went a step ahead
and said she wants join hands with her arch-rival CPI(M) to oppose the
move of demonetization and even called for special parliamentary session
for discussion.
I
agree that they have the right to say what they want and express their
opinions. But what I hate is these political parties and their leaders
are so obsessed with defaming Modi ji that they have lost their sense
and can’t even differentiate what’s good or bad for the people or nation
and are only concerned with opposing every step Modi ji takes.
And this makes me really sad. Infact it makes every INDIAN sad.
