How meditation is important?

I Never took meditation seriously neither, I thought it would impact so much to my life that it will change the whole game and I would be someone, who is totally different than, what I used to be. I started doing mediation and exercise a couple of years ago and still counting, it has helped me get through the toughest time of my life so far. I strongly believe that we all must make the mediation and exercise our routine of daily life and it must be followed every day.

Here are a few things I have realized got changed after following the new routine:

I try to understand the situation before reacting or saying something.

I do not feel frustrated, which I felt all the time.

More listening, less talking.

Taking decisions more precisely and not in hurry.

Stability in thoughts, it was not my cup of tea.

Doing things without worrying about the results.

For me this is an essential part of my life. There is nothing bigger to achieve in life when you are happy and satisfied with what you have. Once you get this everything else will definitely come to you with less efforts and less worry.

Refrain from wrong speech. Not lying or gossiping about other people. -Buddhism
