You should know it.

  • Primacy and recency: People mostly remember the first and last things that occurred, barely the middle. When scheduling an interview, ask the employer the time slots they do interviews and try to be the first or the last.
  • When you’re learning something new, teach it to a friend. Let them ask you questions about it. If you’re able to teach something well, you will be sure that you’ve understood it very well.
  • Fake it till you make it; confidence is more important than knowledge. Don’t be intimidated by anyone, everyone is playing a role and wearing a mask.
  • Stand up straight: No slouching, hands out of pockets, and head held up high. It’s not just a cliche — you literally feel better and people around you feel more confident in you.
  • When feeling anxious, clean up your home or workspace. You will feel happier and more accomplished than before.

  • Be curious: One should never stop learning in their lives. It's one of the few things that remain constant. Right from the time we are born, to when it's time to shut our eyes for good, we are learning. The internet has only added fuel to this fire of curiosity in humans. You should always have the 'want' to learn something new. The smallest of DIY hacks could make a difference someday, who knows. Never undermine the importance of the things you learned. Try to consciously say YES to things that are unknown. Just don't get yourself into trouble though.

Thank you!
