Make your life simple. :)

  • Deactivate from all social networking sites. (Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Uninstall messenger because it tempts you to text people when the notification pops up. So friggin’ annoying.

  • Cut off toxic people, selfish friends and fake people. You don’t need them. They complicate your life and make you feel worse about yourself. Just chop them off your life and move on.

  • Meditate. 20–30 minutes per day. Kick start your day with meditation, or end it with meditation. It keeps you calm and controls anger (i.e. prevents you from killing stupid people). Go meditate.

  • Eat plain food and veggies. I eat like south indians- rice and vegetable curry. Sometimes chapati with dal. It helps to aid my digestion better.

  • Trade your smartphone for a simpler version of nokia or sony ericsson phone. Go for an old version that your granny might chose to buy. Its good enough for texting and making calls. Nuff functions.

  • Quit Starbucks. I’ll teach you how to make Homemade Chai and you will forget all about overpriced coffee. You’ll love it. Try it. Try it. Alternatively if you dislike chai, make your own coffee.

  • Invest your time in gardening. Get to know plants, nature and flowers. Any idea why catterpillars are attracted towards cabbage plants? Find out why. Plant herbs- oregano, basil, thyme, mint. Have fun experimenting.
  • Cook your own meals. Take your time to dice those onions; chop the potatoes, measure flour. Watch the beauty of the process turning into something beautiful. Cooking is an art.

  • Travel solo. Go somewhere alone, to a remote unknown place. Spend time roaming alone, getting to know the local. Take a backpack and few clothes and pick a random location to explore.

  • Get a cat. Or a dog. Or two cats and dogs. Pets are such great stress busters. And they love you as much as you do.  :)
